GE EVT-15 Electric Vehicle motor controller 72-120 VDC

Description

General Electric EVT-15 motor controller for DC series wound motor. Runs on battery voltage 72-120 Volt DC nominal.  This was last used on the FB1-4001A ADVANCED DC MOTOR 9.1" Series Wound DC and ran in a compact car Ford Escort. End user has to be able to read wiring diagram to install properly.
It uses
Throttle input 0-5 ohm potentiometer to adjust speed.
This is being sold As Is. I can only offer support local to Southern NJ region with final wiring and at full price sale.
Please don't buy if you are not confident with your electrical skills or have someone to assist you. This unit is one of very few left and has value for someone familiar with its capability, but less value for someone who wants plug and play with New EV controller Tech support from a company.
Benefit: It has a 3rd contactor that bypasses the controller when at upper speeds giving higher amp flow.  However the cabling and the motor have to be sized properly to deliver the full current or damage could occur.
When wiring, landing the high voltage wire in the wrong spot would damage the control board, thus the need to sell As-Is No Warranty.
